Dyslexia Scotland: Information for Parents Evening

Events to highlight the surprising effects of dyslexia will be held in Portree and Kyle.
As part of the theme of Dyslexia Awareness Week in Scotland, the "My Wider World" events will reflect the many different ways dyslexia impacts on the every day lives of those who have it.
This thought-provoking campaign shows what life is like for the 1 in 10 children and adults in Scotland who have dyslexia.
The Dyslexia Scotland Skye and Lochalsh branch will have information stands in the Kyle and Portree Co-op stores on Saturday 10 November from 10.30 am - 12.30pm. The following week, 13-14 November there will be evening talks in Portree and Kyle on 'Dyslexia - information for parents.' The Portree talk will be held in the Aros Centre on Tuesday 13 November at 6:30pm.
The speaker is Margaret Glasgow who was the Glasgow Dyslexia Support Service Coordinator and co - chair of the Addressing Dyslexia Toolkit.
