Loopallu, the Highland's highly popular music festival is set for change next year.

Organiser have been unable to secure the continued use of the usual venue in Ullapool and so for 2017 it is to be held on the town's pier with support from Ullapool Harbour Trustees.

Because of this no campsite will be available and tickets for next year's event on September 29 and 30 September will be restricted.

Over the last 12 years, Loopallu's performers have included Paolo Nutini, Franz Ferdinand, Mumford and Sons and Jake Bugg. This year's festival's headliners included The Wonder Stuff and The Stranglers.
