Work continues on the new distillery

Job recruitment has begun for Skye's new whisky distillery.

Production staff are being sought for the soon to be opened Torabhaig Distillery in Sleat where the first spirits could be produced in the new year with the facility open to the public in early summer 2017.

Job requirements include the ability to fit into shift rotation, ability to keep accurate records, hands on adaptable approach to all aspects of distillery processes and the ability and willingness to interact with visitors.

Construction has been taking place at Knock Farm since May 2014 with conversion of the old steading on a 7.5 acre site in to what promises to be one of the finest distilleries in Scotland.

All the raised floors are now in place giving visitors the opportunity to see the age-old process at close hand, and now landscaping and finishing commences.
