Skye Local Area Partnership is searching for projects to support in a new round of funding under the Highland Leader programme.
Close to £314,000 is available to support schemes which will benefit communities in both Skye and Rassay.
The aim of the funding initiative is to support projects that help to deliver the Highland Development Strategy and local development priorities. These include:
Giving people better access to local services and activities
Increasing community ownership/control of assests and services.
Increasing employment opportunities locally through new business start-ups and existing business diversification/development.
Improving access for residents and vistitors to cultural, natural and heritage assests.
Increasing partnership working between groups, within and across areas, including intergenerational partnerships.
