Planning permission is being sought to carry out repair works to Raasay's Free Church at Clachan.

If the go-ahead is given for work on the listed building, improvements will be carried out to the roof, bell tower, skews and harling.

Other applications set to go before the Highland Council involve Ferry View at Ardvasar to allow the change of use and erection of an extension to a shed to form a shop.

In Portree's Market Place the go-ahead is being sought to allow Unit 1C to have its current Class 1 retail unit status changed to Class 3 to enable use as a café and hot food takeaway.

Over at Dunvegan Moorings, an application has been made to allow the installation of a moorings pontoon and associated anchorages including a bridge plinth and formation of an access path.
