An Extraordinary General Meeting was held by the Glendale Trust yesterday (October 14).

The meeting focussed on various projects, including the redevelopment of Meanish Pier and an affordable housing project.

In order to achieve the completion of the projects, the directors required more assistance.  After the meeting, the number of directors swelled from 5 to 13 volunteers.

The Glendale Trust's objectives are the promotion of rural regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation, and in particular within the area of Glendale.  The Trust Directors are unpaid volunteers and give their time, direction and advice for the benefit of the community.
