A vessel suffered mechanical failure and needed towed to safety over the weekend (Saturday 9 November.)
This was one of two call outs in the same day for the Kyle RNLI team.
The lifeboat was launched at 4:30pm to assist the 24ft vessel, which had one person aboard in the Applecross area.
All steering had been lost after the mechanical failure.
The lifeboat towed the vessel to Kishorn, where it was safely tied up.
The second call out saw the crew paged at 8:25pm, after a member of the public reported seeing a red flare in the Lochalsh area.
The lifeboat launched and began searching the area. At 10.20pm the search was stood down with nothing found & no sign of any person in difficulty.
The lifeboat was refuelled and made ready for service by 10.35pm
