Did you put up a padlock on the Infirmary and Greig Street footbridges in Inverness?
If so, owners are invited to collect them as the Highland Council will be removing the padlocks and any other attachments.
The Council say they will retain any padlocks for a month before disposing of them.
Highland Council stated: "These padlocks detract from the historic nature of the bridges as well as causing paint damage and encouraging rust spots.
"There have also been incidents of pedestrians and cyclists catching clothing on them whilst passing each other."
Padlocks can be retrieved by their owners now or collected after the Council removes them from Diriebught Depot.
Anyone with queries is asked to contact Highland Council through the call centre on 01349 886601 or through the website www.highland.gov.uk.
