A five-hour-long rescue was carried out after a man fell abseiling down a waterfall on Friday 27 September.

This was the Skye Mountain Rescue's 61st call out this year and involved nine members of the team.

The casualty suffered multiple injuries and, after being lowered, was finally uplifted by the Coastguard helicopter from Stornoway.
