Numerous local businesses have made the Highlands and Islands Tourism Awards 2019 shortlist.

Sligachan Hotel, Seaflower Skye, Isle of Raasay Distillery and SkyeConnect are all finalists in the awards.

Sligachan Hotel is also a finalist in the Highlands Food & Drink Awards for Best Eatery.  Hotel chef, Bailey Hallas, has been nominated for Young Ambassador of The Year.

The awards, now in their 15th year, aim to identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the hospitality industry within the Highlands and Islands.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner which will take place on Friday 1 November 2019 at the Drumossie Hotel, in the capital and heart of the Highlands, Inverness.
