Last week was a busy time for the Coastguard, as they rescued a dog and a fallen walker all in one day (Friday 19 July.)
The Coastguard helicopter airlifted the walker who had fallen at the Quiraing. They were taken to the Western Isles Hospital.
Four Coastguard Rescue Teams were called out to assist collie dog, Glen, who had fallen over the cliffs near Staffin.
Portree, Dunvegan, Duntulm and Kyle teams worked together to rescue the dog.
