Skye Mountain Rescue received a call out over the weekend for a fallen walker in the Cuillins.

The call out was one of three separate incidents for the Mountain Rescue Team over the weekend.

The walker had fallen in Coire a' Ghrunnda.

The Mountain Rescue Team commented: "Thankfully the Stornoway Helicopter happened to be in the area and was on hand to uplift the casualty and we were spared what would have been a very hot stretcher carry as the temperature was a balmy 23 degrees at 2700 feet!"
