A 22-year-old man will be reported after a car was detected travelling at 64mph in a 40mph limit on the A87 at Inverinate.
This incident is one of 16 speeding offences detected after a dedicated weekend of activity in the Skye and Lochalsh area from road policing officers.
Two drivers will also be reported for alleged careless or dangerous driving offences, six will be reported for not using a seatbelt while numerous others will be reported for offences relating to the construction or use of their vehicle.
In total 60 vehicles were stopped between Friday, June 28 and Sunday, June 30.
Road Policing Sergeant Ewan Calder said: "Our officers based themselves on Skye for the weekend and worked on the roads across the island and on key routes in the Lochalsh area on the mainland.
"A substantial element of this work is about educating drivers and this included talking to a number of foreign drivers and offering advice on driving on Scotland's roads.
"However, we will enforce the law where required and I would urge drivers to be mindful of their behaviour while on the roads.
"Road safety is a priority in the Skye & Lochalsh area and we will continue to provide a presence on the roads in the area going forward."
