A 70-year-old woman with an injured ankle was rescued yesterday (Wednesday 15 May.)
The woman had sustained an ankle injury at the Old Man of Storr around 5:30pm.
They used a SPOT beacon to alert the Coastguard to their location.
Skye Mountain Rescue Team assisted the ambulance service in attending to the woman.
The Coastguard helicopter then transferred them to Broadford Airstrip.
