Flodigarry Trust have acquired a site for the new Flodigarry Centre.
An official celebration on Saturday 4 May marked the acquisition.
Urras Baile Fhlodaigearraidh/Flodigarry Trust held a turf cutting ceremony, which saw the first turf cut by Kate Forbes MSP, at the centenary cairn.
Kate Forbes MSP commented: “It is a pleasure to officially cut the turf on the new Flodigarry centre.
"This has been a long time coming and would not have been possible with the sheer grit and determination of local champions.
"It is so important that we have places in the heart of Gaelic communities that celebrate, safeguard and promote living Gaelic culture and I hope this centre will do this.”
After the ceremony, the celebration was moved to Dun Flodigarry Hostel, where refreshments were enjoyed.
