Police have renewed their appeal to find missing 36-year-old, James Cornforth.

The renewed appeal comes two weeks after the Edinburgh man was last seen.

Police say they have had some information that he may have been in Kyle of Lochalsh about 8.30pm on Wednesday 13 February and had been asking about transport to Carbost on Skye.

Officers are continuing with their inquiries and working with train and travel companies to establish if he left the capital.

They say James is 5'10'', stocky build, blue eyes, short light brown hair and has a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder down to his elbow and a coloured thistle on his right ankle.

Anyone with information about James is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number NP494/19 or PS20190207-1134.
