CalMac have announced that two sailings have been cancelled for today (Monday 7 January.)

The Lochmaddy to Uig sailing, originally scheduled for 11:50am, has been cancelled.  The ferry company say the 6pm sailing from Uig to Lochmaddy will operate as per the timetable.

The 2pm sailing from Uig to Tarbert has also been cancelled.  CalMac say the MV Hebrides will resume sailing at 4pm from Tarbert to Uig.

The ferry company cite the forecast high winds as the reason for the disruption.
