The A830 east of Lochailort has reopened under traffic signal control after teams from BEAR Scotland worked to clear debris from the carriageway.
The traffic signals will remain in place over the weekend to allow teams to safely clear the remaining debris from the culverts and ditches next to the route.
The landslip occurred on Thursday evening and approximately 100 tonnes of material is estimated to have washed onto the railway and A830 carriageway due to heavy rain. Network Rail teams are working to address the railway line.
Real-time journey information is available from Traffic Scotland on www.trafficscotland.org or twitter @trafficscotland.
Meanwhile ScotRail say that they anticipate disruption on the Mallaig-Fort William line to continue through until Monday.
