There was no rest yesterday (Wednesday 8 August) for the Portree RNLI crew.
After manning the annual barbecue stall at the Skye Highland Games, they received a call out to assist a disabled yacht just south-west of Rona.
The lifeboat was launched at 8:50pm, following what had been, in the crew's own words, a "hectic" shift.
The crew towed the yacht to safety and it was later safely moored in Portree.
