On September 17, competitors will set off from the Sligachan Hotel to run and bike their way to the finish, a total of just under 40 miles as part of “Skye’s the Limit” event.

Starting at the Sligachan Hotel, a 10 mile walk/run will take in sights including the Cuillin Hills, River Sligachan, the Bay at Camasunary, Soay and the Cuillin Ridge.

Then its onto the bike to cycle 27.5 miles starting in Kilmarie and passing Loch Slapin and Broadford.

Once over the finish line there is a rewarding hot meal waiting and, for those with enough energy left, there is an evening ceilidh at the hotel.
