Ever wanted to be on television?  Now is your chance!

Extras are wanted to take part in Gaelic drama series, Bannan.

The series will be filmed in Sleat during the months of August and September.

Organisers say that having Gaelic is not essential and that the opportunity includes pay and the chance to experience television drama from a unique perspective.

Sarah Jane of Young Films told The Skye Times: "We're about to commence filming of the 6th series of Bannan – all filmed locally in Sleat in the Isle of Skye.

"It's an exciting stage of the production when we are looking for extras – we have a number of regular extras who have been with us since the beginning but we are always looking for new people to join them.

"This time we have a few smaller speaking parts so are looking for Gaelic speakers with an interest in being on screen.  We also have a scene where we are looking for 'younger' extras – 18–30 year olds!  It's such a great chance to see a drama being made in the local community."
