Food and drink experts from all over Scotland attended the two-day Skye Food and Drink Festival on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 June.
Project Manager, Pam Allen, told The Skye Times: "This year's Skye Food and Drink Festival attracted almost 500 visitors on 13 & 14 June at Aros.
"26 producers from Skye and surrounding regions were on hand to chat and share their knowledge and their produce in an Artisan Market.
"Chef demonstrations by Calum Munro, Lady Claire MacDonald, Scott Davies and Helen Vass were hugely popular and Isle of Skye Distillers and Talisker led Masterclasses. The festival ended with a ceilidh and delicious BBQ from Croft No9 with the Isle of Skye Pipe Band kicking off proceedings. After a wee lie down thinking caps will be on for 2019.
"One visitor said: 'What a wonderful way to spend the day, and what a fantastic way to showcase local produce. Roll on next year!'"
