The Skye and Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau are the first in Scotland to receive recognition for their high standards in three main areas.
Their skill with housing, welfare and money advice has been acknowledged by the Scottish Government when they were awarded "The Scottish National Standards in information Advice" accreditation - making them the first and, as yet, only CAB in Scotland to receive this accolade for all three areas.
Ian Blackford MP stated: "This is great news for them, as I know they are a very dedicated and caring team who work hard to help their clients.
"It is also extra good news as it comes during Volunteer Week as we appreciate the role of volunteers who make it possible for many organisations to function, such as the CAB Service.
"My special congratulations to everyone in the Skye and Lochalsh CAB team on achieving this award and to volunteers everywhere."
