Lidl has been forced to recall one of its products over health fears.

The decision was taken because although the product is Alesto Honey Peanuts there is no mention in English on the label that there is peanut in it.

According to the Food Standards Agency, who have issued the alert, this makes the product a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to peanut, a condition which can prove fatal in the event of an extreme reaction.
