A woman is attempting to reunite a ring found yesterday (Wednesday 12 April) at the Fairy Glen with its rightful owner.
Alana Ross, on holiday from Aberdeenshire, was among the group who found the ring. She told The Skye Times: "We went for a trip with the children to see Fairy Glen. We had spent around two hours walking around and investigating the beautiful scenery.
"We stopped for a picnic and one of the adults in our group spotted something lying in the grass: a platinum wedding band!"
Alana took to Facebook to share details of the ring, saying: "We decided to try and use the power of social media to reunite the ring with the owner."
The ring, which has an engraving, was found in the grass at the Fairy Glen.
