Police Scotland are continuing efforts to trace Nichola Buchan (54) who has been reported missing by concerned family members from her home in the Longside area of Aberdeenshire. Nichola was last in touch with her family at 11 am on Saturday 7 April 2018.
Inspector Graeme Penny said: "Nichola's disappearance is entirely out of character and as time passes, her family and friends are understandable becoming more concerned for her.
Nichola is in possession of her black Mini motor car, registration number SY57WRT. It has a black roof and distinctive silver coloured wing mirrors.
"We believed Nichola may have travelled to Inverness or the Fort William area or perhaps elsewhere in the west coast.

"I ask anyone who thinks they may have seen Nichola or her vehicle and hasn't already contacted us, to call 101.
"I'm particularly keen to hear from anyone owning, working or visiting Hotels, Guesthouses or B&B in the general Fort William or west coast area and who thinks they may have seen Nichola or her car, to get in touch. But I urge Nichola herself, if you are seeing these appeals, please phone your family or phone someone you know, even if it's just to say you are safe. You can also attend at a Police Station or phone us on 101 so that we know you safe and well."
