A Skye woman will be shaving her head to raise money for Cancer Research.
Donna McEwan is keen to make a difference in recognition of all those in her life who have survived their cancer diagnosis and in memory of friends and family she has lost.
On Friday 6 April, Donna's Big Shave will commence. She says: "This is in honour of the many folk who have lost their hair during treatment - possibly the most visible sign of a cancer diagnosis for many.
"So many folk I know, like myself, have lost family and friends to cancer. A number of folk in my life have survived their cancer diagnosis. For all of them, I wanted to make a difference.
"I hope you will sponsor me, and support the cause of better diagnosis and treatment of cancer."
