It's still weeks away but Skye Book Festival is turning heads as well as pages with its latest line up announcements.
For the organisers have pronounced themselves "thrilled" to confirm that Joanne Harris, the bestselling author of a host of books including the story to large screen success "Chocolat" will be at this year's event.
They have confirmed that the author will be at the Aros Centre on Friday 2nd September at 7:30pm when she will be talking about her latest novel 'Different Class'.

And having already confirmed last month that Peter May, the multi award-winning author of the Lewis Trilogy set, the China Thrillers and the Enzo Files was to attend things have got even better.
For Mr May is now to use the festival to officially launch a new book. He will be at the event on Saturday 3 September with the book going on general release some five days later.
The Skye Book Festival runs right over the week-end September 1-3.
