The skye times mobile

New methods to prevent sea eagles from preying on lambs are to be trialled on Skye.

The scheme involves the use of audio or light-based devices to scare the birds away from lambs.

Scottish Natural Heritage is working with other organisations, such as Forest Enterprise Scotland, on the trials.

The methods will also be trialled in Argyll.
