Consultation events will take place in November 2017 about the Fort Augustus to Skye Project
The project will provide an increase of electrical capacity for the Isle of Skye, an additional 132kV overhead line to Skye is required to enable the connection of new generation located in the north of the island.
This will also improve the resilience of the transmission network between Fort Augustus and Skye.
This project was first introduced to the community in September 2016 and an update and review of the current preferred alignment will be provided.

The events will comprise of display boards, maps and members of the project team will be available to answer questions and receive any comments.
Posters advertising the events will be distributed to local community councils along with a mail drop to over three and half thousand (3673) local residents within the surrounding areas prior to the upcoming consultations.
