Police have confirmed that a body found near Dornie is that of missing pensioner Roger Fletcher.
The 77 years old who disappeared after going out apparently walking on June 5 prompted police with tracker dogs to carry out a series of searches in the area without any success.
However, early today (Friday 15 July) a police dog handler located a body which was found at Camas-luinie near Dornie, Lochalsh.
A Police Scotland statement said: "The family of Roger Fletcher, who has been missing in the area since 5th June, has been informed. Formal identification will now take place and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
"The family request privacy from the media at this difficult time."
