The owners of a Portree business were surprised when they received payment for a forgotten cup of tea.
Barry and Liza Hawthorne of the Isle of Skye Baking Company received a card with several dollars inside.
A couple on holiday had visited the Baking Company in Portree and ventured upstairs to the gallery - each thinking the other person had paid the bill. On the way home, they discovered that neither had and quickly sent payment and a card all the way back to Scotland.
Barry and Liza said: "If they are reading this, we have to say the biggest thank you - not for the cash, but for caring. You made our week special."
