An open day was held on Raasay to enable farmers and crofters to learn more about local barley trials.
The event was held on Wednesday 26 July.
Locally grown barley could be used to make R&B Distillers' whisky, if growing trials are successful.
R&B Distillers began to trial barley growing on the island in April 2017, using five different barleys.
The long-term objective is to produce a single malt from 100% local barley, grown on Raasay, Skye and Kyle.
While acknowledging that this whisky may be only a small percentage of total product, R&B is keen to challenge the limitations of production.
