The skye times mobile

Colourful buntings, bouncy castles that lived up to their name, delicious local baking and a community atmosphere - all part of what made Struan Community Gala a delight to attend.

The Gala was held today (Saturday 8 June), after it had been postponed from its original date in June due to forecast wind.

The event was packed full of activities, including various bouncy castles, competitions and activities to include all ages.

A.C.E. Target Sports provided entertainment and friendly competition for the crowds with air rifle shooting and axe throwing.

The Gala provided an opportunity for family, friends and dogs to enjoy the get together.

Strenuous effort was exerted during the Tug Of War.

The winning team (pictured below) consisted of Chris Munro of Kenny's Garage and his team.

Inside the marquees, various local businesses and charities displayed their products.
