Local filmmakers based in Skye and Lochalsh are invited to submit their films for the ATLAS short film submissions.

The theme this year is Food and The Environment.

Films should be broadly based on either or both of these areas.  Films should be no longer than 30 minutes in duration and can be in either Gaelic (subtitled) or English.

A maximum of six films will be selected and filmmakers will be invited to take part in an informal question and answer session at the screening on Wednesday the 21st of June. 

Last year ATLAS had a great response with the selected films including 'Dear Dad' by Robin Haig, 'A Bheil Thu Gam Thuigsinn | Every Argument' by Suzy Lee and 'Goneoffswimming' by Calum Maclean.

Films can be any genre: documentary, comedy, drama, artist moving image, mobile short.  Young filmmakers to apply and including those of school age, as well emerging and established filmmakers.
