Isle of Skye Darts had their first tournament on Saturday 20 May.
Alistair "Ally K" Macpherson told The Skye Times: "It's about 20 years since darts was going in Skye. A group of has have now put a committee together and our intention is to run some darts tournaments around Skye throughout the year."
33 players turned out for the tournament, using four darts boards.
Ally K continued: "We were very lucky to have had ex-international players, Robert Thompson (now living in Skye) and Pally boy (Paul Hanvidge.) Both played for Scotland and they were absolutely fantastic and gave us lots of ideas."
The tournament was won by Neil Macdonald, with the runner up going to Ally K.
It is hoped to start a player's league in October/November until March, as well as introduce an Isle of Skye Open.
