The body of a man was recovered from the water in the Ardaneaskan area on Saturday 6 May.
The Kyle of Lochalsh RNLI and Police Scotland Operational support officers assisted in the recovery.
The body was found by the Police Scotland helicopter, which had been deployed as part of searches for James Fewell, known as Bruce. Mr Fewell, aged 62, had last been seen in the Plockton area on Saturday 8 April.
His next of kin has been made aware of the development. However, there has been no identification of the body at this stage.
Further information will be issued once formal identification has taken place.
