The skye times mobile

Just days after returning to service the Skye ferry will not be operating on Thursday 27 April.

The community run ferry company behind the operation of the Glenachulish, the last manually operated turntable ferry in the world, say she needs to go back to Kishorn where she spent much of the winter being re-fitted and a new deck house installed.

Describing it as a post refit inspection they add that the ferry will be back in operation the following day.
