One of Portree's landmark buildings, the 19th century built Black Memorial Hall, could be set for a change of fortune.

Built in 1820 the former church on The Green has been unused since around 2007.

However, Highland Council are now being asked to consider an application for a change of use which would see it converted into hostel letting accommodation.

Other applications to go before the local authority are as follows.
