The chased could become the chaser if Winter Series champ Chris James takes part in the latest event run by Skye and Lochalsh Running Club.
All season Chris has dominated local events but on Saturday (April 1) the Kingsburgh Forest Handicap will see competitors setting off according to their average pace in the winter series. That means he will be last man away.
According to the running club the five mile event will be on good forest track and path with the aim of the faster runners trying to catch the slowly one.
And, for those who haven't done any of the winter races just turn up and a guesstimate of your expected time will do.
Registration is at Kingsburgh Forest, just south of Glenhinnisdal turn off the Portree-Uig road at 11.30am, race starts at 12 noon. Cost is £5 (SLRC £1). All welcome (over-16s only).
