The Food Standards Agency have issued warnings after a series of food product recalls.

Tesco is recalling a batch of its Oriental Kitchen Chicken Chow Mein product because it was incorrectly packed with Tesco Chicken Curry and therefore contains egg, milk, mustard and sesame, which are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to mustard or sesame.

Meanwhile, Lindt & Sprungli Ltd is recalling two batches of Excellence Dark Extra Fine Shell Egg and Lindor Strawberries & Cream Shell Egg because they contain barley which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to barley. The products do not pose a risk to consumers with coeliac disease.

Finally, Kernow Chocolate is recalling its Eton Mess Chocolate and Lemon Meringue Chocolate bars, because they contain undeclared egg which is not mentioned on the label. This means these products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg.
