First of all they recalled Santa now even before Easter has arrived the Co-op want shoppers to bring their Chocolate Bunnies back.

However, as with their edible Father Christmas the recall has a serious side after alleged product tampering.

According to the Food Standards Agency the Co-op is recalling its Hollow Milk Chocolate Bunny because of the product was found to contain a small battery, the presence of which  makes it unsafe to eat and presents a risk to health. The concern is that it may be a choking hazard and can cause burns if swallowed.
