They are already famous in the fast moving world of tweets now Lochaber and Skye Police have found themselves praised in no lesser place than the Scottish Parliament.
Highlands and Islands Labour MSP Rhoda Grant was so proud of the success of the local cops that she decided to make sure everyone in Parliament was aware of what they have been doing.
She said: "I have tabled a motion in Parliament congratulating our 'top tweeters' from Lochaber and Skye Police on winning the Best Tweeting Corporate Police Account in the UK!
"Fantastic work, getting serious community safety and policing messages out there whilst maintaining good humour and encouraging public engagement.
One of the best known of the local police tweets which proved an instant hit on social media was the classic: "If you get back to your house tonight on #Skye and realise your cocaine is missing - we have it in the Police station #WeNeedAWord"
