Police have now issued a description of the man they want to speak to in connection with the damage caused to dinosaur footprints on Staffin beach.

 The incident was said to have taken place on Wednesday (December 28) when it was reported that plaster-cast appears to have been poured into two of the fossilised dinosaur prints on the beach which has resulted in damage

Officers investigating would like to speak to a man believed to be aged in his late 40s to early 50s, of stocky build and approximately 6'1'' - 6'2''. It is believed he travelled in a white Hymer campervan.
